Where are you
starting from?

Choose the practice you would like to talk about. Every option is taught online, one to one.

Regular yoga

Starting out or returning to the mat

Work on movement and balance with a teacher who can watch, explain and adjust the practice with you.

About regular yoga

You do not need to arrive knowing the postures. Tell Girija what you have tried before and what you would like help with. Ask about the pace and format before arranging a class.

Ask about regular yoga

Prenatal yoga

Practising during pregnancy

Talk with Girija about a practice that takes your pregnancy and comfort into account.

About prenatal yoga

Your first conversation is a chance to discuss your experience and any advice from your maternity care team. Ask Girija about suitability before booking; a class enquiry is not medical advice.

Ask about prenatal yoga

Postnatal yoga

Considering a return after birth

Discuss returning to movement at a pace that fits your recovery and the time you have available.

About postnatal yoga

Share what you are looking for and ask what a session involves. Timing and suitability are individual, so discuss returning to exercise with your healthcare professional as well as Girija.

02 / How we practise

A teacher with you.
Even from home.

Personal teaching means there is time to notice how you are doing. You can stop to ask a question and take a little longer where you need it.

The practice starts with a conversation.

  1. Time to explain

Let your teacher know where you are starting. You can ask questions before trying a movement.

  2. Room to adjust

One-to-one teaching leaves space to pause and work through a posture together.

  3. From your own space

Meet Girija online. Ask about the setup and anything you will need before your first session.

  4. A pace you can discuss

Tell Girija what feels manageable. The conversation is part of the practice.

03 / Meet your teacher

Hello,
I’m Girija.

I teach personal online yoga, including prenatal and postnatal practice. I have been teaching professionally for more than 20 years.

We can start by talking about what brings you to yoga. You might be trying it for the first time, coming back after a break, or looking for guidance during a change in your life.

Tell me where you are starting. We can take it from there.

Before your first class

A few practical
questions.

Can I join if I have never done yoga?

You can enquire as a beginner. Tell Girija you are new to yoga so you can discuss where to start.

How long is a class, and what does it cost?

The introductory class is free. Ask Girija for the session length and fees for ongoing classes. You can confirm these details by email before arranging a class.

Which time zones do you teach in?

Vagartha offers online personal training to students in India, the UAE, Canada and the USA. Include your time zone and preferred times in your enquiry to check availability.

Does sending an enquiry book a class?

No. Your message starts a conversation with Girija. A class is arranged only after you have agreed on the details together.

04 / Let’s talk

Tell me a little
about yourself.

Ask about a class, or send a question. Your message goes to Girija at vagarthayoga@gmail.com.

Include your time zone if you would like to discuss a time. Sending this form does not reserve a class.
